What is a hybrid hotel model, you ask? It’s a hotel that combines the best of both worlds: traditional and online hospitality. It means offering your guests both physical and virtual services, flexible pricing and booking options, personalised and automated customer care, and more.   1. Define your target market and value proposition. Who are your dream guests and what do they crave from their stay? How can you blow their minds and offer something unique and valuable to them?
  2. Choose the right technology and platforms. What kind of online services do you want to dazzle your guests? With online check-in and check-out, mobile apps, chatbots and virtual concierge? What kind of technology and platforms do you need to make these services happen? For example, you can choose cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and plus other supporting technologies!
  3. Design your physical and virtual spaces. Can you optimise your physical spaces to create a cosy and safe environment for your guests? How can you design your virtual space to create a smooth and engaging online experience for your guests?
  4. Train your staff and partners. How can you prepare your staff and partners to deliver top-notch service in physical and virtual settings? How can you equip them with the necessary skills and tools to handle different situations and requests from your guests?
  5. Implement a flexible pricing and booking strategy. How can you offer different pricing and booking options to suit the different needs and preferences of your guests? How can you use dynamic pricing and yield management techniques to fill up your rooms and increase your revenue?
  6. Create a personalised and automated customer journey. How can you collect and analyse data from your guests to understand their behaviour and preferences? How can you use this data to personalise and automate your service delivery and communication with your guests?
  7. Promote your hybrid hotel model through digital marketing. How can you use digital marketing channels such as social media, email, website, etc. to show off your hybrid hotel model and attract new and repeat guests? How can you utilise online reviews, ratings, and testimonials, to build trust and credibility with your potential guests?
  8. Monitor and evaluate your performance and feedback. How can you measure the success of your hybrid hotel model in terms of revenue, costs, guest satisfaction, etc.? How can you collect and respond to feedback from your guests and improve your service quality and delivery?
